Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Pre-Wedding Celebration: The pre-nuptial celebrations of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, who is soon to be wed to Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, have commenced with the ‘anna seva’ ritual. In Jogwad village near Reliance Township in Jamnagar, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani, and other members of the Ambani family, along with Radhika Merchant, served traditional Gujarati cuisine to the villagers. Radhika’s maternal grandmother and parents, Viren and Shaila Merchant, also participated in the ‘anna seva’. Approximately 51,000 residents will be served food over the next few days.

CEOs, heads of state, Bollywood and sports stars, singers, pop artists, and industry leaders have all flocked to the coastal city of Jamnagar. The three-day festivities, commencing on Friday, will witness the union of Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani, and his fiancée Radhika Merchant, who is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant. The guest list, consisting of approximately 2,000 individuals, boasts esteemed figures such as King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and his wife Jetsun Pema of Bhutan, who arrived on Thursday. Additionally, renowned popstar Rihanna has also graced the occasion and is anticipated to deliver a performance. To accommodate the influx of guests, the Jamnagar airport has temporarily transformed into an “international terminal,” facilitating the arrival of approximately 150 unscheduled flights, including Airbuses and Boeings. This arrangement has proven essential as the nearest international airport, Ahmedabad, is situated nearly 300 km away.

According to a source, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani have arranged a sequence of pre-wedding festivities at the RIL township in Moti Khavdi village in Jamnagar. These events are scheduled to take place from March 1 to 3. The actual wedding ceremony is anticipated to be held sometime between June and July. The pre-wedding festivities will consist of music, dance, carnival, visual artistry, a surprise performance, and an opportunity to experience nature conservation efforts at Jamnagar. Additionally, guests will have the chance to witness the animal rescue and rehabilitation work led by Anant. The traditional Hastaakshar ceremony will take place at the Jamnagar Township Temple complex. Singers Rihanna, Arijit Singh, Ajay-Atul, and Diljit Dosanjh, along with illusionist David Blaine, are scheduled to perform during the celebrations. Jamnagar Airport has designated six parking bays for the incoming aircraft. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has dispatched six staff members to Jamnagar to manage the increased air traffic. Additionally, ground-handling agencies have deployed approximately 100 extra personnel, and we have hired an additional 30 staff members for housekeeping duties. To ensure security and maintain law and order, 25 to 30 additional personnel from the Gujarat Police are assisting. It has been reported that RIL has requested AAI to convert Jamnagar Airport into an international airport to accommodate the movement of guests. The RIL refinery complex and township are situated approximately 30 km away from Jamnagar city. As part of the festivities, the Ambanis and the Merchants organized a banquet for the residents of the villages surrounding the RIL complex on Wednesday.
