The updated Fixed Deposit rates will come into effect from April 12, 2024. Following the revision, the bank provides interest rates on FDs ranging from 3.50% to 7.25% for regular citizens, 4% to 7.75% for senior citizens, and 4.30% to 8.05% for super senior citizens.

Punjab National Bank presents various Fixed Deposit Schemes. The interest rates for PNB Fixed Deposits are 3.50-7.35% per annum for the general public and 4.00-7.75% per annum. For senior citizens. PNB FD Schemes offer flexible tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. Investors also have the option to participate in Tax-saving FDs, which offer an interest rate of 6.50% p.a. for the general public and 7.00% for senior citizens, with a tenure spanning 5 to 10 years. Moreover, the bank extends Deposit schemes to NRIs.

Eligibility for Punjab National Bank Fixed Deposit includes:
- Individuals (single or joint with others)
- Minors who are aged 10 years and above
- Proprietorship/partnership firms, commercial organizations, companies/corporate bodies
- Hindu Undivided Family (HUF)
- Associations, clubs, societies, trusts, or religious/charitable or educational institutions
- Municipalities or panchayats, government or quasi-government bodies
- Illiterate and visually impaired persons are also eligible to open accounts.
