SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process
The SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process has been given below :-
Tier I : Qualifying in nature
- Candidates who have applied for the SSC CGL test will receive roll numbers and admit cards for the Computer-Based Exam (Tier-I).
- The Tier-I examination serves as a qualifying round.
- Based on the Tier-I exam results, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II and Tier-III exams.
Tier II :
- Paper I is Compulsory for all posts.
- Paper II is required for applicants targeting Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) positions in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementing.
- Paper III is relevant for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
- Paper II (JSO), Paper III (Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer), and Paper I (all other jobs) will have distinctive cut-off scores.
- Tier-II examinations are conducted for all candidates who pass Tier I.
- All Tier-II candidates will need to take Paper I, II, and III. Only Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer shortlisted candidates need to appear for Papers II and III.
