Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme is an initiative for students of the age group of 10 to 14 years. The objective of the CCRT Scholarship Scheme is to provide specialized training to talented children in various cultural fields with a special focus on rare art forms that are on the verge of extinction.
Selected students will receive a cash incentive of INR 3,600 per year and up to INR 9,000 per year as an actual tuition fee. Under the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2024, students from any state of India can apply.
This programme is being created to provide training and practice for the candidates in a variety of cultural programmes, including traditional music, traditional dance, theatre, art, painting, and sculpting. These are carried out to draw attention to the unique art forms that are disappearing from today’s society. The award will be given for a total of two years.

CCRT Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The fundamental need for a student to be eligible for the CCRT Scholarship is that he or she must be talented or skillful enough in the field of cultural arts. But students must also meet a variety of qualifying requirements in order to be eligible for the award. These are listed below in the following order :-
- The student’s age must fall between 10 and 14 years old.
- Either the child attends a recognized school or comes from an artistically inclined conventional home.
- The student must possess a foundational level of schooling as well as some familiarity with that field.
- It is a well-known truth that students who wil be chosen for the scholarship programme must come from families with strong cultural backgrounds, but students must also possess a competency degree in order to be eligible for the grant.
- The students must successfully complete a professional programme lasting at least 5 years, either from an institution, their guru, or both.
- The learner must present documentation of their education in the form of a certificate that has been approved by their institution, guru, or teacher.

CCRT Scholarship Scheme 2024 Benefits
The CCRT Scholarship Scheme’s primary goal is to help the most gifted students and those who are in need by offering financial aid and all the resources they need to succeed in their studies and professions.
The CCRT supports and recognizes gifted kids to inspire them to work harder and raise the country’s profile for future endeavors.
The CCRT is responsible for handling all payments and expenses, which are then deposited by NEFT, ECS, or RTGS into the bank accounts of the parents or any other guardians. The following list includes the total payments made :-

Centre for Cultural Resources and Training 2024 Selection Procedure
The Central screening panel narrows down the applicants for the CCRT Scholarship. The shortlisted candidates will be assessed further for talent and commitment to the arts. By reviewing their application materials, the Central Selection Committee will shortlists the candidates.
The dates, times, and locations of the regional level interview will be communicated to the applicants who will be shortlisted.
Each committee member will give rating to each applicant’s performance on a scale of 1 to 10 during the interview. The selection process for the candidate will be determined by the student’s overall grade.
